The theme, one most appropriate for the difficulties of the past couple of years, is Resilience. It encompasses the challenges faced by all the artists, and their unstoppable desire to continue creating meaningful, personal expressions of their lives, beliefs, and environments. Resilience applies to the diverse genres and styles presented by the artists who have, and continue to, endure many challenges in a complex and rapidly changing world.

Curated from over 500 global submissions in 2025, The Soldier’s Lens offers a rare, intimate look at military life through the eyes of those who lived it. This powerful exhibition features deeply personal photographs taken by active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. Spanning decades of history—from World War II and Vietnam to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Sudan—the collection masterfully balances artistic vision with raw lived experience.

Through compelling visual storytelling, the exhibition honors the intersection of photographic art and military service, capturing everything from high-intensity moments abroad to the quiet camaraderie of life at home.
