In 2001, the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts opened its doors and featured its first exhibition, “Masters of Black & White,” consisting of 50 iconic black and white images borrowed from private collections. “Masters of Black & White II” followed in 2008. In celebration of FMoPA’s growth and move to Ybor City, “Masters of Black & White III” will feature a variety of important photographs showcasing this classic and timeless art form. The exhibition expands the potential of movement, expression, and beauty within monochromatic photography and demonstrates how vibrant the world can be, even in the absence of color!
