The Camera Obscura Project is officially funded!

FMoPA will be constructing a Camera Obscura for the 2014 Gasparilla Festival of the Arts“What’s a Camera Obscura?” in Latin, it literally means, “vaulted chamber/room.” It’s practically the oldest form of photography known to mankind. Our Camera Obscura will be in a PODS structure at the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts on March 1st and 2nd—join us for this opportunity to literally walk inside of a camera. For this project, we want to bring a sense of nostalgia to an age flooded with digital photography and remind people just how cool the art of photography is… read more
