[S]cott Bolendz is an award-winning fine art photographer based in Bradenton, Florida. Using both DSLR and smartphone cameras, he creates intellectually-driven, concept-based projects that explore a diverse range of subjects. From lush tropical environments to moody seascapes, his emotionally expressive images give visual shape to a dynamic relationship between the internal and external worlds. Memory, personal history and identity imbue his work with a strong autobiographical dimension. He searches for subjects that connect his own particular life experiences with larger narratives of loss, human vulnerability and the perseverance of life. Scott’s work has been featured in numerous museum, gallery, and online exhibitions. He is represented by United Photographic Artists Gallery.
