TutuTango: A Photographic Ballet in Four Acts is a collaborative multimedia exhibition featuring the works of Dorothee Elfring from Barcelona, Spain, and Michael Sheehan from Tampa, Florida. This unique project navigates the complexity of human encounters through the medium of dance photography, culminating in a fictitious symbiosis that transcends the boundaries of time and space.

Inspired by Silent movies, New Wave cinema, and photographer Duane Michals’ storytelling style, this exhibition invites viewers to witness a choreographed
encounter between two souls, meticulously captured individually in different parts of the world, yet brought together through similar settings and emotional resonance. The project stands as a testament to the power of art to connect, move,
and provoke thought, even in the face of separation. Dorothee and Michael, through their artistic synergy and innovative use of technology, have crafted a narrative that speaks to the heart of human connection.
