Amy is a full-time professional photographer based in Tampa, Florida. She grew up in New Jersey, so when it’s sweltering in Florida she heads north for summer sessions in New York City and the surrounding tri-state area. She specializes in weddings, portratuire and an editorial/commercial mix of spaces, food and people.
Her degree in Environmental Science was a little more useful when she was a science teacher and museum designer. Nowadays she makes sure she runs an environmentally responsible business; her experience as a middle school teacher means NOTHING fazes her (and she loves kids). While she always had a good eye for photography and art, her design aesthetic was sharpened while working with architects and graphic designers to create multi-million dollar interactive museums here and abroad. Put that all together and somehow you end up with a vegetarian foodie (married to a carnivore), mother of three fur children, environmentalist, traveler, kayaker, insatiable learner, left-handed (although all cameras are right-handed) photographer who loves to make you smile!
