[D]o you have a passion for travel? Do you wish you could take better photographs of your vacations, explorations and adventures? Do you want to be inspired with fresh ideas to make more creative — and unforgettable — images? If so, this workshop is for you! The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is pleased to present this special, abbreviated workshop of a more comprehensive class offered by the museum on a regular basis throughout the year.
Award-winning photographer Scott Bolendz will teach students how to select appropriate camera gear for different kinds of travel, how to plan ahead to be more productive with their time, review practical photography tips and also explore 7 creative ideas for getting those priceless shots of people, places and things (with many examples!). Students will also review several types of photo editing software (both smartphone and computer-based) to make those priceless shots look even better!
This fun, interactive, presentation-style workshop is designed for all types of camera enthusiasts – whether you shoot with a DSLR, mirrorless or smartphone camera. There will be opportunities for Q&A, and also student image critiques if time permits. So feel free to bring some of your favorite travel images to share for this fun photographic journey of discovery. No passports are needed!
