Call for entries: International Photography Competition. FMoPA accepting submissions through April 5th, 2020
TAMPA, Fla. – The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts (FMoPA) is now accepting submissions for its 10th annual “International Photography Competition.”
Photographers from all over the world are invited to submit their work. All styles and
levels of experience are welcome. Winners will be selected by a jury and
announced on May 1st. The winning selections will be printed and framed by
FMoPA and exhibited in the Community Gallery from June 5th – July 20th. There will be a formal reception from 5-7 p.m. on June 26th at the museum.
This year’s categories include: People/Portraits, Places/Landscape/Drone,
Nature/Science/Animals, Documentation/Social and Political Photojournalism, Still Life, Abstract Photography and Conceptual Photography. Each category will have first, second and third place winners. First-place winners will receive $100-cash prizes. One submission will be awarded Best in Competition over all seven categories and receive a $1,000 prize.
Images will be judged on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact
and artistic merit.
