Florida Strawberry Festival Night Safari

Thursday, March 8, 2012
7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Florida Strawberry Festival, Plant City

Come and have fun at our next outing.  This Safari is going to be shot at the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City.  This target rich environment will be great for learning and enhancing your night/low light photography skills. Photography, strawberries, and fair-rides - what else could you ask for?

Participants should bring their cameras, sturdy tripod, a garbage bag and light rain suit, and their camera manuals if they are unfamiliar with the dials.  It is a great opportunity to learn how to shoot at night in such a bright and colorful environment.

The Safari is being led by Chip Weiner, an instructor for the museum and our past Safari leader.  Some of his work can be seen on this page.

Participants should plan to meet at 6:45 p.m. in the McDonald's parking lot, 2601 Thonotossa Road, Plant City, just of  I-4 at exit 19.

Cost is $45 for museum members
 and $55 for nonmembers
A minimum of 6 participants is required.

(The cost of the safari does not include admission to the festival or transportation.)

To enroll, please call 813.221.2222 or email MuseumManager@FMoPA.org
