Special
Night-time
Photo Safari
Wednesday,
September 17,
2008
7:00 p.m. - 9:30
p.m.
Downtown Tampa
Rain or Moon
Downtown Tampa
is beautiful at
night. Our
skyline is
perfect for
photography and
great subject
matter to learn
how to shoot in
low and variable
light.
Come and have
fun at our next
outing as we
venture to two
different sites
and capture our
outstanding
city. It is a
great place for
learning and
enhancing your
night/low light
photography
skills.
Participation is
limited to 12
people as we
will have
special access
to a private
residence high
above the city
line for some
phenomenal
shots.
Pre-requisites include
having taken Photo 101
or have a working
knowledge of your
camera. Equipment best
suited for night photos
will have an adjustable
ISO, a long shutter
speed of at least 10
seconds, and the ability
to manually control the
f-stop. Tripods
are also required (the
instructor has a couple
of loaners).
Please bring your
cameras, sturdy tripod,
a garbage bag and light
rain suit and camera
manuals if you are
unfamiliar with the
dials.
It is a great
opportunity to learn how
to shoot at night in
such a beautiful and
colorful environment.
Participants should plan
to meet at
6:45 p.m. at the
Gasparilla Ship parking
lot on Bayshore for a
short briefing. We
will then walk or
car-pool to locations.
To enroll, please call
(813) 221-2222 or email
MuseumManager@FMoPA.org
If you have questions
please call the
instructor
Chip Weiner
813-786-7780.
Cost is $45 for museum
members and $55 for non-members.
A minimum of 6

required.
