DIGITAL LUNCHES are exceedingly popular,
lunchtime camera
classes held at the
museum from 11:00
a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The course consists of two successive
weekday classes:
scheduled for
Wednesdays, December 3 and
10, 2008. Class
size is limited to 5
- 6 participants.
Bring your digital
camera (and manual,
if possible), paper,
pen and your lunch. The museum will provide
drinks and light
snack.
The classes are taught by award-winning architect and camera expert R. Daniel Harnly, who has had his photographs published in several trade journals and in
Shutterbug Magazine. He currently teaches digital and nature photography at the Tampa Audubon Society.
The first class will review basic camera design, features, handling and technique. The second class will consist of a review and a hands-on workshop. “This is where we explain all the ‘mystery’ buttons on the camera,” says Harnly.
Cost for this
two-class course,
which features a
total of four hours of instruction over two weeks, is $25 for museum members and $45 for non-members. Due to the small size of the classes, paid-in-advance reservations are required within 24 hours before each class.
Classes in 2008
will be held
on Wednesdays:
December 3 and 10
