The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is at 200 N. Tampa Street (at the corner of Jackson Street). Hours are 10 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday. $2 suggested donation. Call (813) 221-2222 for more information.
Entry and Fees
Members must bring up to 2 works to the museum on Friday, July 13, 2007. You may join and pay your membership fee at that time. A non-refundable entry fee of $25.00 per person is due upon arrival. Be prepared to hang one work (the second may be hung by FMoPA depending upon available space). All entries must be suitably presented for hanging using a picture hook. The sum of the height plus the width of the frame may not exceed a total of 55". Please fill out the attached entry form and bring it with you (this form may be posted next to your work). Entrants are encouraged to volunteer in the museum when asked. Additional entry forms are available on the museum's website.

The Fine Print
Liability By submitting an entry to this exhibition, Members agree that the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts (FMoPA) will have no liability for the protection of submitted work or otherwise.
Acceptance/Use All photographs may be accepted or rejected for display at the discretion of FMoPA. Photographs accepted for display may be removed or relocated from time to time. Please bear in mind that the museum accommodates visitors with children; exhibitions must be suitable for viewing by all ages. FMoPA reserves the right to use submitted images for promotional purposes without payment or compensation.
Pick-up of Artwork All photographs must be picked up by the Member (or someone with written/signed authority, such as a purchaser) on August 4th during regular museum hours. All work must remain for the duration of the show.
Judging
Entries in this fine arts exhibition are judged according to:
print presentation, artistic merit, and technical excellence.
Eligibility
The exhibition and competition is open to all members of FMoPA. Members may submit up to two pieces. No commercial work will be accepted. Family memberships (and higher) may submit up to three pieces, but not more than two pieces per artist. Submissions must be original works processed by photographic methods (including digital) AFTER July 2006.
Sale of Artwork
We often receive requests to purchase artwork during the Members' Exhibition. There is an option to price and sell your work as an additional fundraiser for FMoPA. Please indicate on your entry form if you would like to participate. Then choose the percentage of your sale price that you would like to donate to the museum. Minimum donation is 33%. FMoPA will process all sales.

Rebecca Sexton Larson
Rebecca is Curator of Education for the Polk Museum of Art and was the 2005 Photographer Laureate for the City of Tampa.
Rebecca is a studio artist/photographer and educator working with alternative photographic processes. Rebecca graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Fine Arts and Photojournalism. In 1998, she was awarded her first Florida Individual Artist Fellowship from the State of Florida. In 2005 she was awarded her second Florida Fellowship. Other major awards include an Artist Enhancement Grant from the State of Florida to print at StudioF at the University of Tampa and a McGonagall Trust from University of the Arts in Philadelphia to lecture.
Over the past 15 years Rebecca has taught, lectured and exhibited work at numerous arts institutions and organizations across the state. From 1997 to 2002 she was an instructor at the Lois Cowles Harrison Center for Visual and Performing Arts in Lakeland teaching photographic arts.
Rebecca's hand painted photographs are in numerous major collections throughout the country, including: Polaroid, Progressive Corporate Art, Graham Nash (Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young), Holland and Knight Law Firm, Polk Museum of Art and the Tampa Museum of Art to name a few.
Her work is currently featured in the book Pinhole Photography: Rediscovering a Historic Technique by Eric Renner.
Ryan Joseph
Ryan is the owner of R. Joseph Photographics in historic Ybor City. He photographs weddings and portraits across the country and abroad.
Heavily influenced by the masters of the 30’s and 40’s, Ryan combines today’s digital technology with traditional techniques to create images that are not only contemporary, but timeless as well. A graduate of Ohio University’s prestigious fine art photography program, Ryan has practiced photography in Tampa for the past ten years.
He will be teaching a master class at the 2007 Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) convention. He is also leading an intensive workshop for advanced professional photographers in Italy as a member of the Vino Image Group.
Laurel Falls DeLoach
Laurel Falls DeLoach is a Personal Property Appraiser and President of DeLoach Fine Art Services, Inc., located in the Tampa Bay area. She specializes in appraisals of Fine Art Photography and twentieth century American Fine Art.
Prior to relocating to Florida, Laurel served as the Art Collection Manager for the Bank of America Art Program. Her responsibilities with Bank of America included the overall collection management for 30,000+ works of art, exhibition programming and coordination of branch gallery exhibitions, and national tour management of the Hewitt Collection of African-American Art.
Laurel earned a BA in Architecture from North Carolina State University and an MFA in Photography from Columbia College Chicago and has over four years of college level adjunct teaching experience in photography. In addition to her work with DeLoach Fine Art Services, Laurel actively lectures on photography at various institutions including The Arts Center in St. Petersburg, Florida.
